Meet this week's West Herr Wednesday, Paul Henning! Paul has been a member of the West Herr family for an impressive 16 years, after getting his start with the company at our Chevy OP store back in 2001. Altogether, Paul has 39 years of automotive experience, having previously worked at both Don Laks VW and Daniel Chevrolet before West Herr acquired the store. Paul started in the industry working as a lot attendant while attending school. After his manager suggested he switched to sales, Paul made the switch and fell in love with the profession. Paul decided to go the management route about 30 years ago, and worked at a variety of locations through his years at West Herr, which allowed him to really get to know a lot of the wonderful individuals throughout the company. Paul made the move to Ford Hamburg as a sales manager about 8 years ago, and has been there ever since!
What Paul loves most about his years at West Herr:
That the company allows its employees to do what is truly right for the customer, regardless of the costs or amount of time it entails. Paul also likes that the position allows him to work really with the sales professionals as a team in order to achieve the store's goals.
Paul stays pretty busy with work, but he enjoys just relaxing at home with a nice read whenever he gets a moment to himself. Favorite genre? History. Paul has always been a Southtowner, having grown up in the Hamburg area.
