Cars are more advanced than ever, and 2018 offers plenty of innovative new models to choose from. If you were unable to attend the Auto Show this year to check them out in person, here is a brief list of a few 2018 vehicles that we think are worth taking a closer look at:

Chevrolet Equinox
600 × 400
This compact SUV has been completely redesigned. It’s shorter and lighter, with a more user-friendly interior and updated technology: the latest MyLink multimedia system and a 7- or 8-inch touch screen that supports both Android Auto and Apply CarPlay. A backup camera comes standard, and there’s an optional monitor that offers a 360-degree view of everything in every direction.

It also can be a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hot spot.

Honda Accord
600 × 337
One of America’s favorite sedans and a finalist for North American Car of the Year honors, the Accord has been redesigned for 2018. Safety features include a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection and dynamic radar cruise control. Engine options – an all-new 2.5-liter 4-cylinder or a 3.5-liter 6-cylinder, both are designed for performance and efficiency.

Toyota CH-R

Aimed at the millennial market, the CH-R is equipped with many standard safety features, including lane departure warning, forward collision warning with pedestrian detection, adaptive cruise control and automatic emergency braking. It also has heated front seats, fog lights, push-button start and a blind spot warning system.

Ford F-150

The 2018 F-150 is more powerful than its predecessor but still gets better gas mileage. A 5.0-liter V-8 is available with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Safety options include collision warning and automatic emergency braking. Though it’s up to 700 pounds lighter than previous versions, it can carry up to 3,270 pounds and tow up to 13,200 pounds.

With active driveline technology, the E-Pace uses all four wheels only when it has to, and the system can transfer most of the power to either the front or real axles when you’re driving in extreme conditions. You can choose among four driving modes: normal; dynamic; ECO; and rain, ice and snow.

Subaru Crosstrek

The redesigned Crosstrek now offers a continuously variable automatic transmission that shifts like a conventional automatic. With symmetrical all-wheel drive, it gets up to 33 miles per gallon on the highway. Subaru EyeSight provides an array of safety features, including pre-collision braking.
